For over a century, Davis Clothing Co. has been a fixture in Delta, Colorado, serving local farmers and ranchers with quality clothing and accessories. What began as a livery stable in 1884 was transformed into an Emory Clothing retail store in 1903. BDS, a longtime employee, eventually became a partner in the store with a partner by the name of Park.
The Paonia store was shut down in the early 1920s, and all of its fixtures, ladders, and cases were relocated to the Delta location, where Davis Clothing Co. still stands today. Shortly after, Mr. Park sold his stake in the business to the Davis family, and it was officially renamed Davis Clothing.
While the business has gone through changes over the years, one thing has remained constant: the commitment to serving the local community.
